Job Position Details:

JOB TITLE: ECE Coordinator


REPORTS TO: Building Principal / CTE Director


JOB DESCRIPTION:


The coordinator is the head of the center and is responsible directly to the building principal for the efficient operation of the center and to provide instruction to students that is appropriate for their understanding and needs.


SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  1. Coordinates the educational program of the center to include instructional experiences for high school students and the development of the instructional programs within the center.


  1. Effectively manages center staff through the interview process, assignments and evaluation of the childcare staff.


  1. Oversees the business operations of the child care center including budgetary matters and accurate record keeping.


  1. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations.


  1. Develops positive parent/community relations through the establishment of good communication between students, parents, staff and community.


  1. Maintains professional and personal activities that keeps the director abreast of changes and developments in the child care field.


  1. Performs other duties that may be assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:
Must be currently certified with an ADE Teaching Certificate in the area of K-12 Secondary Education
