SUPERVISES: SMS and Helps with Marching and Concert Band Students
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Director of beginning, intermediate, advanced SMS bands.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops and promulgates a philosophy designed to establish a quality band program for Safford Schools.
2. Approves a graded band curriculum for grades 7 through 8.
3. Approves and supervised band activities for grades 7 through 8.
4. Develops a long-range plan for music, instrument, and equipment purchases and repairs.
5. Schedules performances for the various bands in a way that is consistent with quality educational thought.
6. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Principal.
